On the eve of the Mid-Term Review of the Lisbon Agenda, the President of the European Commission outlines his vision of a healthy, prosperous Europe, and describes the steps he would like to see Europe – and all Europeans – take to preserve our social model, create jobs and restore vibrancy to our underperforming economy. Mr. Barroso’s lecture – and the subsequent discussion among European reform leaders and top economists in the Lisbon Council network – will feed directly into the European Council Spring Summit to take place in Brussels on 22-23 March.
